Cross country ride raises funds for lung disease research
A Maryland team among 21 cyclists, led by Kathleen Brown and Michael Granger, completes a Seattle to Washington trek that began June 15. The moving city bicycle ride, with support crews and 100 cell phones, has raised over 6.25 million dollars for lung health and asthma awareness. Participants endure injuries and pain while highlighting acts of kindness from strangers en route to a Washington ceremony.
