Sugarloaf project gets $700000 grant for land preservation

Creek bridges to close for Carroll Creek flood work
Frederick will begin the next to last phase of the Carroll Creek Flood Control project this fall or winter from College Avenue to South Court Street. West Patrick and Bentz streets bridges will be torn down for culverts and replaced with detours during construction. A new bridge beside College Avenue will also be built to carry overflow water.
