Park Service Draws Large Crowd For Evening Worship
About 300 people attended the Baker Park Sunday service led by Rev. Charlies F. Trunk Jr. and stayed for a Yellow Springs Community Band concert. The sermon contrasted faith and science, urged reliance on God, and envisioned a future universal church. Music featured Jane Miller, Hood College student, and choirs led by Robert L. Smith with both Evangelical and Good Shepherd Lutheran church organizers.
