Airport notification proposal sparks debate at city meeting

At a monthly airport commission session Mayor Grimes urged real estate agents to have buyers sign a notification statement for houses within four miles of Frederick Municipal Airport. Commissioner Gray recalled prior attempts, while Ed Scott pressed for enforcement. The panel discussed new policies, terms, and composition, including a shift for Charlie Abell to non voting status. appointments will fill seven voting seats and one non voting seat with various city and aviation representatives.
