Paramedic Suspended After Reporting Assault
Paula Haavistola, a Rising Sun paramedic, says she was assaulted by a fellow firefighter. After reporting the incident, she and the accused were suspended by the volunteer fire company board. She has filed fourth degree sexual assault charges against Firefighter Kenneth H. Truitt. trial set August 29 in Cecil County District Court.
