Butler Aims At Failure And Fumbling In Nixon Focus
Washington April 29 national Democratic chairman Paul M Butler said the party will concentrate on the Eisenhower administration's failure and fumbling while directing emphasis at Vice President Nixon in the presidential campaign NBC Meet the Press. He criticized the administration for taking credit without recognizing labor unions gains and for neglecting public health while prices rise. Butler argued voters must weigh Nixon’s conduct and past campaigns, saying Nixon implied opponents were subversive and demeaned the American system.
