Cornerstone laid for technology center at Montgomery College Germantown
A cornerstone laying ceremony at Montgomery College Germantown campus marked the start of the 12.4 million High Technology and Science Center. Local officials and national leaders praised the project as essential to attracting high tech firms, updating the workforce, and bolstering regional and state competitiveness on the I-270 corridor. The center will include computer classrooms, advanced labs, a 500-seat conference facility, and a time capsule to be opened by future generations.
