AFS Sponsors Washington Day With Foreign Students
The American Field Service will sponsor Washington Day on April 30 when foreign students studying in the United States meet members of Congress and Washington officials. Students from France Argentina Sweden Japan Philippines U.K. Brazil and more will participate, living with American host families. A birthday party for Mrs. Evelyn Bell was held recently with many relatives and friends attending and giving gifts from a money tree.

Four charged with arson by Rockville group
Four suspects calling themselves the Rockville Revolutionary Army were arrested over a year long arson and vandalism campaign in Aspen Hill. Among them are two Rockville residents Herbert Caldwell III and Stephen Wilson aged 20 and 19. They face seven counts tied to incidents from April to September 1974 including damage to a police cruiser a Cadillac a Chrysler a golf course clubhouse a home a high school and a church. The FBI and Secret Service aided the investigation and notes signed ARA were left at bombing sites.
