Ten Mount Saint Marys College undergraduates will be honored May 4 during Parents Weekend as Dr. John J. Dillon presents scholastic and service awards. Recipients include Richard F. LaBaw Jr for the Monsignor Mulcahy Prize for service, Richard P. Kidwell for the Tierney Memorial Prize, and six freshmen for the Phillips Prize. Also named are sophomores Katherine Marshall and Raymond McLaughlin for the Ryan Memorial Prize. The awards honor former Mount faculty and leadership, with prizes funded by Msgr Louis Mendelis. Point Barrow, Alaska’s note appears as a geographic aside.
