May Locate Abandoned Baby's Parents
County authorities say they believe they know the baby's parents after a girl found on a West Second Street bench last night. The child was taken to Emergency Hospital and is described as white, six weeks old, well nourished and well dressed. The State's Attorney declined to name the parents, while Mrs. Roderick of the Children's Aid Society handles custody. Police search was prompted by a late call from Mrs. Reno Harp who reported discovering the infant on her porch bench.
