Gene McAllister 21 of near Arkittsville was seriously hurt when a harrowing tractor rolled on a steep slope and toppled him. He walked to the Maught home before being found and rushed to Frederick Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment after initial care by Dr. A Talbott Brice and transfer by M. R. Etchison and Son. He is the son of Mr and Mrs C C McAllister, farm neighbors.
