Water Co Proposal Is Rejected By PSC
Baltimore April 27 The Public Service Commission rejected today the Routerville Water Company's proposal to abandon service to Pen Mar Md residents. The PSC granted part of the companys alternative plan a rate increase but refused the demand that Pen Mar residents guarantee a $3000 gross income from the Maryland operation. The commission noted customer declines but said abandonment could not be justified. Less than 50 persons are affected.
