Frederick schools unaffected by state CTBS decision
Frederick County officials say the suspension of the CTBS standardized test will have little impact. The county uses CTBS only for a 750 student random sample and currently relies on MSPAP for state comparisons. Next year the test will be dropped saving 8000 to 12000 in costs and Maryland plans a new biennial assessment in 1997.
