Public meeting to study I-270 U S 15 options for congestion
State officials will host a 5:30 to 8:30 pm public meeting on May 8 at Urbana Elementary School to discuss seven proposed I-270 U S 15 corridor improvements. Plans include HOV lanes, widening to eight lanes, light rail or exclusive busways, and restrictions on new roads, with a final decision unlikely until fall 1997. County and state representatives will answer questions and collect resident suggestions.
