Magistrate sentences intoxication cases in three hearings
In Magistrate Byron W. Thompson's court three intoxication convictions were ruled guilty with fines or suspended sentences. Howard Clifton Layton age 48 of Frederick received 50 dollars or 60 days in jail, Henry Ford Haines age 43 of Frederick County was given a 30 day suspended sentence, and Lester Chase charged near Urbana faced a continued trial for petty larceny.
