Lioness on a ranch seeks fear-free life with humans
Hal Boyle profiles Auburn Washington ranchers Georges and Margaret Westbean and their 200 acre Hadden Valley Ranch where Little Tyke the 340 pound lioness, born to a single cub, was raised without fear. The couple, former medical student and deep freeze locker operator, created a small world of love hoping lambs and big cats can coexist. Little Tyke survived starvation and a failed meat diet after biting her mother's leg, remaining fearful of meat and death from the start.

Kiss of the Lioness Unclear Narration and Troubled Time
The fragment describes a vivid but disjointed scene with sensory acts like shaving and a warm towel, followed by cryptic lines about a binary man and a hiss, suggesting an experimental, unsettled tale set in a desolate valley during a period of hunger and struggle. The text blends surreal imagery with disruptive narrative shifts.
