Typing Expert Miss Deht Demonstrates Speed at Frederick High
Miss Hilda Deht 17 world school novice champion typist of 1926 gave a demonstration at Frederick High School. She typed 123 words per minute from copy and won Illinois state contest in 1925 at 65 wpm for 15 minutes. A state contest will be held May 26 at 10 30 A M open to students who began typing after Aug 1 1927 and must reach 50 wpm for fifteen minutes to qualify. The winner earns a California trip to compete nationally. Local high school plans to enter contestants.
