Seed Corn Demonstrations To Be Held In The County
Dr R A Jehle of the University of Maryland Extension Service and KK Walwrath of the American Potash Association with Henry B Shoemaker county agent will conduct seed corn demonstrations Thursday to combat root rot and other diseases. A fertilizer demonstration may accompany. Two to three tests on growing plots will compare yellow id owagat seed with a grain kept aside for planting observation. If successful the program will expand to eradicate corn foot diseases.
