County revenues seen short funding Montgomery budget
County Council President Sdamae Garrett warned that county revenues may fall $10 to $12 million short of funds for the next budget. Failure of the proposed one percent sales tax add on and $20 vehicle registration could trigger a fiscal crisis unless new revenue sources are found. The council is studying options and awaiting the executive’s plan.
