Pardon My Sarong Provides Abbott and Costello Comedy
Hollywood report describes the film Pardon My Sarong with Abbott and Costello in a tropical spoof set on a yacht bound for Honolulu and an uncharted island. The production features a native feast scene, Costello’s betrothal, and playful on-set banter with Leif Erickson as the chief. The piece notes the Hays Office stance on comedies and the writers’ loose script approach.
