Mrs D Edward Kefauver died at Middletown after a two year illness in her sixty third year. She leaves husband Martin B Kefauver and two sisters Minnie and Viola. Funeral services Friday at Reformed church Middletown with interment in Reformed cemetery. Capt Louis Daniels, brother of Dr M E Daniela, died in Vergennes. He owned coal yard and vessels on Lake Champlain. Annie Nichols, formerly of West All Saints Street, died at Montevue aged about 60. Funeral Thursday at Asbury church with interment at Greenmount cemetery.
The funeral for Miss Laura B. Johnson was held at 2 pm in All Saints Protestant Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Osborne Jogla and Rev. G. W. Thomas and Rev. Walter P. Grigga officiating. Pallbearers included Dr. C. H. Conley, Dr. Albert Pearrs, Worthington and Barry Dorsey, West Chambers, and Jack Thomas. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. W. H. B. Folk expects Governor Lee to return Friday as legal talks with New York about surrendering Kelsey proceed regarding a baking powder trust. Grand jury reconvenes to probe race track interests in the final days of the 41st general assembly.

A man was found murdered near Shenandoah Pennsylvania on April 22 after being struck in the head. The body was located about 299 feet from the roadside on the outskirts of the town, with indications suggesting he had been robbed. Police investigation begun, no identity released.
