Simpson's Mill Bridge Reopens After Rehabilitation
Simpson's Mill Road Bridge on the Carroll County line northeast of Woodsboro is nearly rebuilt after about 80 days of closure. County officials expect traffic by weekend as workers install a laminated wood deck on the bridge spanning Little Pipe Creek from Frederick into Carroll County. The wooden deck and steel supports received about $400,000 in repairs.
