Barnesville Fire Kills Four In Early Morning Blaze
A Barnesville two story house on Sellman Road burned in the pre dawn hours, killing Marco Whisman 87 Perlina Whisman 86 William Baker 49 and a granddaughter 38. Fire crews from Upper Montgomery Beallsville and Carroll Manor responded extinguished the blaze and found the four victims inside. Damages were about 15000 for the structure and 85000 for contents. The house used fuel oil from two storage drums one exploded, and bottled gas heated the rear cooking area. The bodies were taken to Hilton Funeral Home for examination by the medical examiner.
