In Torrance California a 21 year old man Jonathan Shane Allabaugh pleaded no contest to 732 charges and agreed to move from Hollywood Riviera or face 275 years in jail. He was ordered by Judge Benjamin Aranda to stay out of the area after June 1. He pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace driving with a suspended license and to brandishing a firearm and assault with a deadly weapon. He had driven his souped up Volkswagen Beetle across lawns toward pedestrians and flashed obscene gestures. The city notes a prior conviction in 1987. Torrance is about 20 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
