Schaefer tossed the first pitch amid ceremonies, with dignitaries and National Guard parachutists adding pageantry. M J Grove donated 250000 to place his name on the stadium, and former mayor Ronald N Young appeared in a Keys uniform. Traffic management and construction still continued as the city celebrated a landmark night for Frederick baseball.
