Frederick ECDC opposes cap on industrial revenue bonds
The Frederick County Economic and Community Development Commission opposed a proposed per capita cap on IRB issuance. The House would limit IRBs to 150 per person, while the Senate removed IRB provisions. ECDC drafted a letter supporting the Senate approach, noting IRBs are vital to Maryland and fretting about allocations if the House plan passes. The group also discussed local bond authorizations, a McKinney site sale, eminent domain policies, and upcoming business seminars.
