Local Bike Day aims to boost safety and rides in Frederick

Baltimore Colts guard Ken Huff, 25 and UNC graduate 1975, will appear at Bike Day in Baker Park on Sunday April 23. Huff, a former consensus All-American and Tar Heel captain, joined the Colts in 1977 after replacing injured Elmer Collett. City to test water lines in southeast area
The Frederick City Water Department will conduct five days of daytime testing and flushing in the southeast city area bounded by South Market Street and East Patrick Street. Tests run 7 am to 4 pm on April 20 21 25 26 and 27 to check fire hydrant flow and flush the system. Discoloration may occur but water remains safe to drink.
