Louis Budenz a 59 year old former Communist will testify Thursday in Washington. Senator McCarthy claims Budenz will connect Owen Lattimore to Communism. Lattimore denies the charge and challenges public testimony as the Senate investigates State Department hiring of Communists. Budenz once led labor and Communist activities and later wrote This Is My Story.
