Frederick Baseball Association seeks equal field access

At a Frederick Recreation Commission meeting the Frederick Baseball Association pressed for equal access to city fields. FBA says denial of use for Loats and McCurdy fields while Husky Park was granted access creates unfairness and urges the commission to recognize FBA as a league and extend use for the 1996 spring season. The group also asks for city funding to improve Husky Park and a youth baseball softball subcommittee. The mayor will respond to any commission recommendation.
