Beavers wife and mother seek lawyer for murder case
A Frederick County woman told a Prince George General District Judge she and Beavers mother will hire counsel for capital murder suspect Gregory W. Beaver 20 of Knoxville after the court appointed attorney, as Beaver faced trial for the shooting death of Virginia State Trooper Leo Whitt 48. The judge set a Friday deadline to obtain counsel or he would appoint one.
