Maryland ASCS surveys farm storage space for grain and oilseed crops
ASCS chair Paul Crowl announces a mail survey to gauge available storage on Maryland farms for grain and oilseed crops. The effort, conducted with ESCS, aims to assess on and off farm capacity, current occupancy, wet storage used for high moisture grain, and permanent corn storage space to prevent bottlenecks during the 1978 harvest amid rising production and carryover.
