A 17 year old Jefferson girl, M M Poole, daughter of Mr and Mrs Daniel Poole, has been named one of Maryland s delegates to the 36th Annual National 4 H Conference in Washington D C She is a senior at Middletown High School and joins 225 youths from the United States Canada and Puerto Rico for a week of leadership and service activities The group will tour the White House meet officials including Vice President Humphrey and Secretary Freeman visit agencies and sites such as Goddard Space Flight Center and Mount Vernon and stay at the National 4 H Center to discuss expanding opportunities

Petit Named Hospital Assistant Administrator
Robert R. Petit was named administrative assistant at Frederick Memorial Hospital by hospital administrator David Youngdahl. The appointment fills Gerald R. Sauter’s vacancy after his death in October 1965 and includes establishing a full time personnel department. Petit, 27, recently completed a hospital administration residency and will graduate with a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in June. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Howard E Petit of Eugene Oregon, a 1956 Eugene High School graduate, former U S Air Force airman first class, and earned a BS from the University of Oregon in 196. Rockville Man Accused of Arson
Wayne Curtis Greathouse 46 head of a Wheaton surveying firm was arrested on arson charges after a midnight blaze at 170 Rollins Ave in Rockville damaged papers and the building.
