In Ellicott City Maryland jurors viewed graphic images of Pam Basu’s bloodstained body as prosecutors press for a conviction of Bernard Miller 17 of Washington and Rodney Soloman 27 in a carjacking that killed Basu 34 and endangered her daughter Sarina. The defense argues Miller was in the car but not proven guilty of felony murder while witnesses described the brutal assault and the suspects’ escape. Prosecutors plan to show a crime scene video and may present a husband filmed tape that prosecutors say captures the defendants in the act. Judge Dennis Sweeney will rule on media copies of the footage by 9 am.
