One U S 15 lane to reopen at Catoctin Furnace
One northbound lane of U S 15 at Catoctin Furnace was to reopen at 9 a m easing detours onto Md 806. State officials say cracks formed in the pavement last Thursday and tests are ongoing. Rob Fisher said there is no sink hole and the problem is a slipping roadway from heavy winter and spring rains. He cautioned it may be several weeks before both lanes reopen.
