4-H camp funds top $80,000 in Frederick County drive
Friday night’s Urbana Fire Hall dinner and dance boosted the 4-H Camp Center fund past 40 000 for land purchase and site development. Donations included a 1 000 gift from Chester Dutrow for Sire Power Inc and a 400 cake auction. Tickets and other activities pushed the evening over 2 000, with 8 961 65 total since 1978 and 30 862 521s still owed for land. County agents praised volunteers as plans for a dorm and wells moved forward.
