Pipeline Plans Approved for Pennsylvania Natural Gas Lines
The Manufacturers Light and Heat Co of Pittsburgh received temporary authorization from the Power Commission to build about 5.28 million dollars of natural gas pipeline facilities in Franklin, Fulton, Bedford, Somerset, Fayette and Greene counties. After construction, five parallel lines totaling about 135 miles in Fulton and Bedford counties will be abandoned. The Frederick Jehovah’s Witnesses hold a circuit conference May 22 to 23 at the Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium with more than 1,200 delegates expected from nearby areas.
