Presentence investigation ordered for man accused of battery theft
Frederick County District Court Judge Stanley Y. Bennett ordered a presentence investigation for James P. Mister a 19 year old Myersville man charged with battery and theft from a Gee Bee store on December 2. Mister allegedly placed items in his pants pocket and fled after being confronted by Security Manager Janis M. Hower. He disputes the battery claim saying he did not push her. Mister also faces separate battery charges from an incident at the Fun Factory in Francis Scott Key Mall. The docket also included a preliminary hearing ruling to hold over Joseph A. Lewis on charges of second degree rape and related offenses and Michael J Allman found innocent of assault but guilty of a motor vehicle violation.
