Maryland residents challenge 1956 property review act in Equity Court
A group led by Mr and Mrs Lew Myers and other Woodsboro-area owners filed a bill of complaint in Equity Court against the Frederick County Property Review Board and the State Roads Commission alleging the 1956 act creating county review boards to ease condemnation suits is unconstitutional. They seek to halt hearings set for May and seek to recover costs borne by taxpayers. The case names Frederick officials and the roads commission as defendants and notes property actions linked to road by passes and by passes projects.
