MecConnellsburg Man Charged After Fatal Crash
Elmer Richard Peck 25 of McConnellsburg Route 1 was charged by State Police with involuntary manslaughter in a February 25 crash that killed Theodore Hamil 32 of McConnellsburg. Hamil died 48 hours after the collision on the Mercersburg McConnellsburg Road near Cove Gap. The coroner’s inquest blamed Peck’s gross negligence. truck driver Bob Lee Wright was absolved of blame.
