Cumberland Md April 12 Chief of Police Marstellar who was sworn in at Elkins W Va on Monday was killed by a man named Davis yesterday. Davis was arrested in a saloon and as he was being taken to jail he shot and killed the chief. Marstellar examined him when arrested and where he got the revolver no one knows.
