General Superintendent A. C. Palmer of the Beech Creek railroad and Miss Mary Baer wed in Palmer’s private car while speeding at 49 miles an hour. The ceremony took place between Jersey Shore and Newberry, performed by Rev. P. S. Kohter of Jersey Shore.
Trenton April 9 the board of pardons yesterday granted pardons to Joseph H Hall and Edward Denton convicted in Camden court of libeling a policeman in the Camagen Citizen and sentenced to three months The case had been carried to the court of appeals which recently affirmed the conviction.
