Scientific notes on tiny particles and grafting life
Observations by Siedantopf and Zsigmondy magnify illuminated particles to reveal diffraction discs, deducing real particle sizes and magnification limits. A German anthropologist traces pygmies to Swiss Alsace and Silesia, noting historic short stature. Prof. Lucien Daniel rejuvenates plant tissues via grafting, converting tobacco to biennial and producing a double-fruited bean variety. Mayou proposes a noninvasive method to remove metallic stomach objects using an electro-magnet guided by X-ray imaging.
