Fire Claims Two Women In Salisbury
In Salisbury an early morning fire killed two women, Mrs. Hide Lee Stein 27 and Mrs. Frances Marshall 57, who were found near a window in a two story frame house at Park Heights and Race Streets. Fire Chief Austin Moore cited smoking in bed as the probable cause and said the victims likely died before the alarm. Fire units responded after a neighbor's call.
