Two Jailbreakes Caught After Silent Escape

State and County Police reported Sunday night that both prisoners who escaped from Frederick County jail early Saturday have been apprehended. Koprivich, 42, of Weirton West Virginia, was nabbed by Montgomery County Police near Gaithersburg, while Norman Day of Gaithersburg surrendered Saturday night and was returned to the jail. Authorities noted Koprivich may have had help from his wife and said Day denied knowledge of the escape tools. Sheriff Alexander said Day will likely face an added escape warrant. Deeds recorded include the Cheatham Wachter property at 10244 East Patrick Street for about 49000 and sales in New Market district totaling about 13000.
