Testimony alleges Kush abused ASU players in drills and punishment
Four former Arizona State University players testified in a $22 million damage suit that Frank Kush used brutal drills and blows during practice. They described hamburger drills, stadium-step runs, hits with metal rods, sprinkler heads, and rebar. The witnesses said the abuse contributed to quitting the team and scholarship loss. The trial entered a second phase focusing on harassment and supervision after Kush denied the charges.
