Fluorides In Water Prevent Tooth Decay
Chicago reports that small amounts of fluoride in community water can markedly reduce dental decay in children. Dr. Francis A. Arnold Jr. cites surveys across varied areas showing lower caries rates where lifelong fluoride exposure occurs and supports adding about one part per million to fluoride-free supplies.
