Road improvements eyed for Licksville to Point of Rocks stretch
County officials expect a visit from John N. Mackall to discuss State Roads Commission plans for upgrading one and a half miles of Licksville to Point of Rocks and about two miles of Brunswick to Knoxville. A large delegation recently urged action, with start dates uncertain and a two to three mile total scope under consideration. The Brunswick to Knoxville segment, about half a mile, will be resurfaced and chipped under a contract awarded to Thomas Bennett and Hunter, with work to begin soon.
