Methodists Meet in Cartesville North Georgia Conference closes in Milledgeville
The North Georgia Conference wrapped up sessions in Milledgeville last Tuesday at noon. Cartesville was chosen as next year’s meeting site and appointments for the LaGrange District were read by the Bishop. Changes included Rev. B P Allen moving to Elberton and Dr J B Robbins succeeding him in leadership.

City Court Session Review of Thanksgiving Adjournment
City Court in session this week resumes after Thanksgiving with Judge A D Freeman presiding and Solicitor W L Stallings making his first appearance. Deputy Sheriff Traps Blind Tiger in City
Deputy Sheriff T J Butrekin of Senoia, in Newnan for City Court, trapped Jim Walker a Negro whiskey dealer in the act of selling liquor. Walker was delivered to city authorities and arraigned before Mayor Burdett who levied 50 to make it square with the city.
