Newnan Cotton Receipts Progress Compared With Last Year
Newnan's cotton receipts have risen above last season's pace though remain slightly below. This year total reaches 15 542 bales versus 16 137 last year, with current receipts only 400 bales shy of last season. January receipts total 1 402 bales, while last year January recorded 254 bales. Stock on hand February 1 stood at 4 174 bales, compared with last year's figure of 4 000 bales.
