Pacific College Opens With Registration and Activities
Pacific College announces Monday registration for students followed by ten minute fee sessions for lesson assignments. Recitations start Wednesday at 8 30 in all departments. The formal opening occurs Tuesday evening in the college auditorium with music by the school of music and a public address. Visitors may meet new faculty and tour the building including the new domestic science department led by Miss Bertha Mc Cracken. Newberg Ministerial Association Expands to Evangelical Ministers
At a September 6 meeting the Newberg Ministerial Association voted to open membership to all evangelical ministers in good standing in Newberg or nearby. Monthly meetings are set for the first Monday at 1 30 p m at the Public Library. The state W C T U convention in Newberg was announced for October 47 with Rev Hiram Gould chosen to give the welcome address and to serve as vice president and treasurer, while Mr Lee became secretary.
